Kris Hansen hails from Providence, RI, where he has worked as a live-sound engineer for 13 years and performed as a singer-songwriter for most of his life. After a show in May of 2001, he suffered a brain anyurism, and had a one-in-a-million chance of survival. Miraculously, survive he did, experiencing a personal and aristic rebirth in the process. Now, with the help of musicians Bob Giusti and George Dussault he is about to release his debut album, "Lying in the Bed of Now," an eclectic collection of songs excellently written and performed.
